Big Bore, Sleeved, Aluminum LS Engine Block

Boostline Performance is proud to offer aluminum GM engine blocks using American made dry sleeves! These blocks get fully machined for Power Bore and/or Darton sleeves at our facility using seasoned GM Gen 4 aluminum blocks on our Rottler CNC machine. Both sleeve brands have steps in them to alleviate the possibility of ever "dropping" a sleeve, which could be a problem with straight sleeves. We are using two different size sleeves that will allow for bore sizes from 4.00" all the way up to 4.185"!

Both Power Bore and Darton sleeves offer a much higher tensile strength than standard GM sleeves, giving you a much thicker sleeve that will not distort as much under extreme conditions from power adders such as boost or nitrous. Both brands are 100% made in the USA for the best quality possible!

Blocks such as the LS3 and LSA have incredibly thin sleeves from GM, so the resleeved block is a great option for those needing thicker sleeves for more extreme builds. The LS7 block is well known for having brittle sleeves that crack under higher horsepower, which usually cracks the aluminum behind the sleeve as well. 

Please note that if you do decide to supply your block for sleeving and you have had any type of engine failure, there is a chance that your block will not be usable for sleeving. We will to inspect your block once it arrives at our facility to determine if it can be used. We will only be able to resleeve Gen 4 LS and Gen 5 LT aluminum blocks. Gen 3 aluminum blocks cannot be resleeved. We do not recommend larger than a 4.125" bore size for any power-adder use.
